Finely cut blades of grass, lush green fields, the sound of bat on ball and the resonance of the racquet string as the ball heads down the line. All of this, when accompanied with a chilled glass of beer or some strawberries-with-cream, epitomises what is for some a perfect day in the British summer.
The summer of ’19 was a much awaited one for most Indian sport lovers, hopeful that one of the strongest Indian cricket teams of recent time would be able to emulate the achievements of 1983 and bring home the World Cup. With an all-play-all tournament
format, some mouth-watering clashes were in store over the months of June and July ’19. This, along-with the prospect of one of the most closely contested Wimbledon’s in store;

We planned a month-long sojourn across the UK, following the Indian Cricket Team’s fortunes and ending it in London with the hope of getting a chance to witness live action at SW19.
The cricketing-leg of the tour was planned by our friends at Globe-n-Beyond, having secured match tickets for three epic contests at three iconic locations in England;
